As part of the modification to the iis webserver default page, four links are added. Those links are accesible from the instance browser but not from other browsers using the public dns. May be the IP addresses of the links are internal to AWS.

iis has updated in amazon and no longer matches instructions, css on default page has changed also and hides the links you add by default
