A little more depth would have been great. However, I understand that due to time constraints that's not always possible.

We have the RDP port blocked on subnet used in this lab, but I was able to Launch EC2 instance, allocate EIP, and associate it with the instance. I also was able to download the key required to decrypt the windows password.

I am using a Chromebook to perform this lab on, and it seems that Chromebooks have issues with opening the Microsoft Web Server app. We just started using these, so we're still learning what can and can not be done with them. Unfortunately, this is one of those things. I will try this lab again on a proper desktop another time.

Some of the instructions are not as seen on the AWS console. The PEM file for example ONLY had the private key, not the public key, so I could not import it later (AWS asked for the public key only so I could associate with the instance).

1. The lab time of 1 hour is a little short. I had a problem with my browser and the AWS Console (had to switch browsers) and barely finished in time. PDF instructions were great.
