It is an inherently bad idea to do a lab that is supposed to be finished within an hour if the only instance allowed is t2.micro. Win 2016 has quite explicit requirements for the core GUI OS installation - 2GB RAM minimum and then more for the roles installed ontop of it. Given the IIS isn't doing much, 2GB should be enough, but going with 1GB is just pointless, as the mere installation of the role services takes more than 20 minutes. The instances ends up being insanely slow and is nearly unusable. IMO either the instance type should be changed, or the assigned time.

There were some proxy issues, but otherwise fine.

t2.micro is very slow to load and start IIS. CPU clocks at 99%. Possibly use a better Ec2 instance type config to improve efficiency.

was very intuitive . a lot of steps. I felt like I had ample time to not only complete the tasks, but also explore what is in the various other options available with each step.
