This is the second time the score for a lab has not advanced even though I completed all the necessary steps. The content is good but the lab is not working properly.

After debugging the issue with Mac RDP and windows validity checking, I was able to crank thru the rest of the lab easily. I do have one suggestion - Add a header line to the IIS start page that is edited: <html> <body> <h1>Lab Instance</h1><hr> <a href="http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/">Instance Metadata</a> <a href="http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/hostname">Instance Hostname</a> <a href="http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/placement/availability-zone">Instance Availability Zone</a> <a href="http://169.254.169.254/latest/user-data">Instance Userdata</a> </body> </html> I'll look into other labs in this quest, thanks, Donn

It seemed to time-out (I got a phone call) and the AWS console page closed. Now, upon retrying the lab, I can't seem to get connected via RDP (credential issue). So, I'm a bit frustrated. Self-paced? Have tried restarting 4 times; same failure. Restarting desktop system did not resolve the problem.

Moderately. Grateful for the hands-on, but would like more understanding and in-depth notes to take away beyond following rote instructions. It'd be terrific if we could dissect the AMI itself, for example.
