It is really a cool experience. I love it. But the tutorial description for windows user and mac/linux user to set up the instance can be more clear, such as giving step usage as a sub-title to distinguish the different section.

The lab itself is nice, no questions about that. The basics are well covered and even if you don't know what httpd is or why you should create a file named index.php you can still complete it. However, the lab would be much easier if instead of static text you had a working env next to the text of the lab. Or at least have the links in the text (good luck finding elastic IPs if you didn't know they were under EC2). A Windows laptop with a tiny screen doesn't help either. These small details matter.
