A good introduction to provisioning EC2 instances and using Elastic IP addresses.

I would suggest to add a note about the benefits of Elastic IP.

Step 13 does not work for most of the users because of the permission issue and needs to be append sudo at the beginning for this lab to work #! /bin/sh sudo yum -y install httpd php sudo chkconfig httpd on sudo /etc/init.d/httpd start

I followed all the steps and everything worked perfectly, but the private key I downloaded from qwiklabs did not work. I was able to connect to my instance but it kept asking me for my credentials which I do not know. Plus It was not keeping my score. I completed at least 3 out of the 4 steps and it did not update my score.
