I choose to use the RHEL instance versus the "Basic" Linux. This resulted in at least one unexpected deviation from Lab: HTTPD was not started from chkconfg. I think this is actually because RHEL 7 and newer Fedora/Ubuntu distros are moving to systemd. I had to manually call start on HTTPD. No big. Great intro to the EC2 console.
