this lab experience sucked! 1. your lab document is locked up in your viewer which doesn't fit on my screen and 2. your lab requires I copy text from your lab document into the labs, but your viewer does not allow copy and paste, so i have to type everything manually. 3. so that if I make a type, and i did, your scoring system doesn't give me a full score. 4. then when I troubleshoot and correct my typos, there is no way to re-score the lab. 5. and if for some reason the management portal gets closed, your 'open console' button does not refresh the link and thus you get an error from amazon saying the link has expired and there is no way to get back into the management console. finally, given that i can't keep the lab document, i have to spend time taking personal notes and screenshots in a hope that i might be able to recreate the processes after leaving the lab and trying to put in practice what was taught. any decent class would provide lab manuals that can be taken home after the class. so should yours. the labs seem quite nice, but given this lack of attention to detail, i'm a bit wary about spending more time in the labs.

Decent lab. Missed a big instruction point on setting up an inbound security group rule to allow SSH traffic from the user's machine, otherwise Putty will not connect. I learned that lesson in another course and thankfully remembered it here when I was encountering network timeout errors when attempting to connect to the AWS instance with Putty.
