Issue with RDP file, not clear how to launch the webpage and test (is it through my local browser or do I open an RDP session?) Lastly, I received and error while trying to create the mySQL database Unable to create the resource. Verify that you have permission to create service linked role. The Web Server returned an Apache Test page and would not start. All the VPC network is correct as I have tried it in my own Amazon account with different instances.

User data script did not completely config server for connecting to mySQL. Not sure if this is a problem with the provided script, or if the EC2 instance simply had a SNAFU.
