a bit more explanation for network will help. In addition it is not clear why we created a NAT server but never configured to use it. Also, a replica for second subnet is available but how do we use it in case one of them fails is not specified. Some background for this will be helpful

not sufficient instructions for connecting to the instance remotely. what the username and password should be were not clear at all. was is instance ID, etc???

Needs a default security group inbound adjustment to allow all traffic from the SQL server. The SQL server can then have Internet access
