Building Your First Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Reviews

Excellent lab. The first time I ran through the create vpc wizard, it did not create the vpc using the nat instance (nothing happened when I clicked the create vpc button and I tried several times). I created an elastic ip required by a nat gateway and continued with the exercise without issues using a nat gateway instead of a nat instance. I came back after completing the lab and the nat instance method worked fine.

This needs to be updated slightly to keep up with minor changes to the AWS console. Completely new users will likely get caught up on different defaults or the different wording for some options.

There are several steps in the lab guide that are not current. It makes it very difficult to get started.
