Was surprised to select servers not in the free tier. Also, some of the AWS screens have changed as of 2016-12-21. It was still easy to follow.

A few of the steps are a little out of date with update Console GUI. In particular, it seems VPCs are shown by name instead of CIDR in tables now.

I couldn't logon to the Bastion Host via my MACBook Windows Remote Desktop Connect. My procedure didn't match Step 107 "In the Computer box, type or paste the Elastic IP of the bastion you noted in step 94, and then clickConnect." I verified my previous steps and couldn't see errors.
