This was great. But it could have been better. I was only able to connect from the bastion server to the SQL server after about 10 minutes of trouble-shooting. Trouble-shooting was fun because I had to actually learn my way around some of the moving parts. This lab could have been better if you had provided some way to check the correctness of incremental steps. As it was, I learned a lot. But I think you could have flagged my error (wrong RDP port) much earlier.

this is a great lab - could use more time and the PDF instructions are hard to read on a hybrid laptop/touchpad. Everytime I try to scroll by touch it jumps to the top, forcing me to use scrollbars.... wretched UI experience.

The lab was a good walkthrough of how to create a VPC. However, I was unable to complete the last step of logging into SQL Server using RDP.

A lot of the startup VPC steps are old and need to be updated. For example, there is no longer an option to create a Public and Private subnet from the VPC wizard.
