The lab does not test that the DB instance is reachable from the WebServer.

a bit thin... why not check the connection between front and backend, why look further to the public ig ? missed changes

Why not have 2 route tables? one without a gateway (main routing table) for the private subnets, and one with the gateway associated with the public subnet.

This lab could be improved. i dont understand why we created a DB backend but not actually use it, there is nothing connecting to it. why not setup the web server with db backend that way we utilising everything that was setup.
