Somewhat. The instructions were good, but the interface is a bit scattered and I had a hard time visually finding the fields that were part of the next lab step. Overall though, it did give me a good understanding of how setting up a VPC works.

In spite of following(several times) all the steps to RDC the Bastion Windows Host, it keeps on failing and I haven't been able to find a cause for it. Searched AWS forums but nothing satisfactory. I tried from a private macbook same result. And the AMI Windows server 2.xxx Sql server web is not FREE.

could not finish end of lab due to "Connection Refused" from MRD on Mac. Could telnet to Bastion server port 3389 and connect successfully, but not with MRD, which tells me network and security is ok, but something with MRD client. Perhaps version differences in latest MRD and Windows Server 2008 R2? Ran out of Lab time troubleshooting.
