I think it would be helpful to communicate up-front what the flow is going to be and why. At first, it was confusing why we needed to write to a spark_analysis.py from a jupyter notebook in a dataproc cluster, then copy the file to GCS, then copy it into our 'local' terminal dir, then run it in dataproc. Explaining why we did this would be helpful.

For the git clone, we could use shallow cloning in order to save time and bandwidth.
