It would be nice to have configured the API Gateway one step deeper. With this lab, I don't feel like I really learned much about configuring API Gateways, just an example of how it interfaces with a Lambda function.

Nice lab. I missed the step where you save the lambda function and so the first time I tried executing, I got the following output: {"message": "Internal server error"} So you may want to add a comment like "if you get the above message, you didn't save your function".
