The AWS interface has changed a bit since this was published. There were some errors creating the trigger after function was saved that I had to dig around to resolve.

Some things in the console have changed since the lab was created so some descriptions of the steps do not match what is on the screen

Awesome. I didn't understand how to call a lambda function from an external system until this lab. Very helpful. Now I can implement a lambda.

The lab only creates an API with the "ANY" method, but will need the GET method to really allow testing as well.

I think this lab needs to be updated to match the new prompts within Lambda.

I think the focus here is greater towards the implementation of a Lambda service rather than to the API Gateway. I was expecting more depth on setting up the service calls a POST vs a GET, etc.

Following the steps that don't match the new AWS Console interface results in a broken setup. Unable to complete the lab succesfully if you follow the steps.
