I needed to use the advice about the authentication error and having the right url. I think the url we should test ( lambda trigger + /dev/ whatever) could have been explained first.

Did not explain api gateways enough; the connection between how the api gateways work with creating a lamda function is not clear.

I liked the background explanation about restful APIs, but would have liked information to help me understand how the AWS API can send data to the Lambda function for processing, e.g. if external server sends info to the API, how does this info get transferred to the lambda function?
