It might help if you have the student create items with different fields, i.e. if one of the items, but not the others, had the field "Genre" to show visually how DynamoDB lets you have fields for some items, but not others. This example created a table that looked pretty similar to a normal relational database, which doesn't highlight the benefits a noSQL database has over a relational one.
