Something seems out-of-sorts with this lab. It keeps switching the region and since keys are managed regionally the key I created never appears.

Although the content of the lab itself was instructive, I was not able to get qwiklabs to launch the lab with the awsstudent account: I had to use my own account to do the lab. This may have had something to do with Chrome, as the lab instructions advise one to use; my usual browser is Firefox, with which I don't usually experience this problem.
