When i launched the console i changed my region to US-EAST-1 and when i began progressing through the lab i noted some areas it said region did not matter, i created my encryption key within the region i had switched to and then when i created the s3 bucket and went to upload the file and use the key it was not appearing. I could not change my region within the s3 section as it said it didn't matter region under the global. a little confusing considering it clearly mattered what region i was in.
