There were some minor instruction issues. JackDB for example does not give you a CIDR range which is needed when entering the IP into the security group. You need to add /32 to the IP. I was thrown off by the IAM permissions warning when setting up the redshift cluster.

Good intro but it was just a point-and-click type of thing. I don't believe that I have a better understanding of the capabilities of Redshift.

Content appears to be a bit outdated (e.g., not reflecting current placement of AWS components as well as JackDB components). Otherwise, it was quite informative and intuitive.

A bit more info about Redshift syntax would help. Otherwise, excellent and quick way to get hands dirty and get confident.
