I deployed the App Engine Standard app successfully and confirmed it is serving. However, the lab requires disabling appengineflex.googleapis.com before the App Engine resource appears in Identity-Aware Proxy. In this project, that service cannot be disabled because it is enabled hierarchically by an ancestor policy. The command returns SU_CANNOT_DISABLE_IF_ENABLED_HIERARCHICALLY, and the IAP page never shows any App Engine resource to protect. I restarted the lab and reproduced the same issue.

I successfully completed the deployment of the App Engine application (Standard Environment, Python). The service was in "Serving" status with 100% traffic allocation, as confirmed in the App Engine dashboard. I also correctly configured the OAuth consent screen. However, the Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP) resource list failed to populate. Even after multiple manual refreshes of the console and waiting for several minutes, the page continued to display the "Connect new application" welcome screen instead of the "App Engine app" resource row. This prevented me from enabling IAP and completing the final assessment. Project ID: qwiklabs-gcp-04-5c84509af3e3

Terrible execution. The lab instructions and source code are severely outdated. Trying to deploy with an unsupported runtime (Python 3.7) causes immediate errors. Furthermore, the Google Cloud Console UI for IAP is completely bugged with an endless loading spinner, forcing you to use workarounds just to see the application list. Please update your repositories and fix your UI.
