This seems like a pretty poor way to intro someone to a new language. There's no background in syntax or anything, it's just paste in this snippet and start deleting things. I think a better learning pathway would at least give a diagram with labels abut the code. SECOND ATTEMPT EDIT: It worked the second time around. Giving an overview of the syntax and diagram of sample code would have helped me easily diagnose my extra bracket.
