It seems that the code to generate the databae connection is odd. setAttribute(PDO::ATTR_ERRMODE, PDO::ERRMODE_EXCEPTION); echo "Connected successfully"; } catch(PDOException $e) { echo "Database connection failed:: " . $e->getMessage(); } ?> This is all that appears, works fine otherwise. The image and <h1></h1> work properly.
