Great overview of what an API script, DB and HTML can provide for monitoring (ie) Security Group changes history. I would think that a script plus additional resource related scripts are available for customization and not requiring green field programming.

instance never spun up, I had to spin up my own instance but there was no role or the ability to make aws access key or secret key ... and why using boto when boto3 is much better and more robust?
