Just completed the "Modularizing LookML Code with Extends" lab on Google Cloud Skills Boost. This lab was a fantastic dive into Looker’s capabilities, teaching me how to modularize LookML code using the extends functionality. I learned how to efficiently extend views and Explores, enabling code reuse and consistency across multiple LookML objects. This approach not only streamlines the management of dimensions and joins but also enhances scalability and maintains data model integrity. Overall, this lab has equipped me with valuable skills for building more organized and maintainable LookML models.
