It's difficult to understand some of the commands. Specifically, the flags. It seems like a lot to just upload images. Why is a databased used to do that?

Seemed pretty specific to Ruby, and less on Cloud SQL stuff, which is what I'm trying to learn in the Cloud SQL quest. Also, the instructions stated that the needed APIs were already enabled in the cloud shell environment, but some were not.
