it's ok and interesting but some issues that took me time (it was a bit messy) : The metrics explorer part is not working well : 1st : by default the date interval is not correct (no data) so we need to be sure interval is including moment of time we try to requst website 2nd : i can't find why but 'group = mean' is not working as a filter. With no filter i can see my data latency (as a table for example) but with filter group = mean, it says there is no resource available. Strange thing is that when we create the alert it is working well. Maybe it's not working as a filter or it's already mean datas by default ? 3rd : i fpound very difficult to understand what's happening when i do metrics explorer instructions : what is a group ? what is GAE application -vs-app engine ? what is 99% percentile goal when i just do few requests? For alert it was too long so i've changed to 50% percentile.

In my case, an incident was raised with a delay of 40 min after the alert condition triggered, and I never got that alert via email.
