* In the exercise the virtual machine was in error: Failed to start LSB: data collector for Treasure Data. Investigating the log file "/var/log/google-fluentd/google-fluentd.log", I've found the following error: Failed to count metrics for uptime. error_class=Signet::AuthorizationError error="Error code 404 trying to get security access token\nfrom Compute Engine metadata for the default service account. This\nmay be because the virtual machine instance does not have permission\nscopes specified.\n" Maybe if we create a Virtual Machine with the proper permissions the agent may work. So this exercise need one or more steps to debbug this error.

In the Metric pane of Metrics Explorer, select the resource type VM instance and the metric CPU usage. In the resulting graph, notice that CPU usage increased sharply a few minutes ago. ここの部分がよくわからなかった
