terrible... you tell student to give zone "us-central1" but that is not a zone. when figured out problem, i corrected .yaml file and ran again successfully, no thanks to the intructions. the one positive experience in all this is i had a real hands-on troublshooting experience as a result of the intructions being faulty. i had to run coonds to get a list of the ctual zones and use one of those ("us-central1-a")

"Select" resource type and metric? Actually is was necessary to WRITE "VM instance CPU metric" into the text field, this was not clear from the instruction.
