Installing the monitoring and logging agents fails - they do not start after the `apt` commands finish: ```Dec 12 20:33:39 my-vm systemd[1]: google-fluentd.service: Control process exited, code=exited status=1 Dec 12 20:33:39 my-vm google-fluentd[3787]: google-fluentd ... failed! Dec 12 20:33:39 my-vm systemd[1]: Failed to start LSB: data collector for Treasure Data.``` The `journalctl` logs show: ```bash Dec 12 20:33:43 my-vm google-fluentd[3827]: Starting google-fluentd 1.8.4: /opt/google-fluentd/embedded/lib/ruby/ge ms/2.6.0/gems/googleauth-0.9.0/lib/googleauth/compute_engine.rb:98:in `block in fetch_access_token': Error code 404 trying to get security access token (Signet::AuthorizationError) <SNIP for brevity> ``` This looked to be related to: https://cloud.google.com/monitoring/agent/authorization?authuser=1 (since the labs use a Debian 9 image, which may not have the necessary permissions, but the `curl` command failed to produce any output. Tried to follow the instructions in https://cloud.google.com/monitoring/agent/troubleshooting?authuser=1#verify-creds, however, "Cloud API access scopes" did not seem to be visible in the VM details page. Curiously, the "Monitoring" panel was present, and showing CPU usage caused by the pipe of /dev/urandom into gzip.
