Please provide clearer instructions for the last step involving GitHub (e.g. align them with respect to latest platform features, such as 1st/2nd generation source resolution). I could complete this part only via trial-and-error, by using 5 attempts in total.

Followed all the instructions as expected but the trigger doesn't get triggered by the repo tag push

The notebook was not automatically created. These labs should be uploaded to use VertexAI. As others have stated, the GitHub trigger configuration could be better explained but I managed to successfully complete it by creating a new release and pushing the changes. I had to wait a few minutes for the build to start in CloudBuild/History section of the Google Cloud Console.

It's too much hassle to set up the trigger, especially when we are using a temporary GCloud account mixed with our personal github account. I can't make it work.

Very poor instructions for this one. I recommend finding instructions on youtube, at least for last part - outside notebook.
