And I did not even change the switch from 'tempLocation' to 'temp_location'. I guess camel case is acceptable then. I guess I might have had errors in my previous attempts. Yet another error. Even when copying directly from the solution I get this Writing to BigQuery with FILE_LOADS method requires a GCS location to be provided to write files to be loaded into BigQuery. Please provide a GCS bucket through custom_gcs_temp_location in the constructor of WriteToBigQuery or the fallback option --temp_location, or pass method="STREAMING_INSERTS" to WriteToBigQuery. [while running 'WriteToBQ/BigQueryBatchFileLoads/GenerateFilePrefix'] Please ix it - it's hardly a good benchmark when I have no real idea what I'm actually doing incorrectly and its a colossal waste of time doing this again. FIX IT
