The model serving application did not work. It had an issue with JAVA_HOME. Even after updating this, only the test_run worked. The CSV reading job said "build failed", and the Pub/Sub+BigQuery+Dataflow job wasn't posting predictions.

The lab is really outdated, Dataflow SDK 2.5.0 is not supported anymore, the JDK8 is not available in cloud shell, only JDK11 or JDK17. The old java code doesn't compile.
