I think the notebook neural_network.ipynb was not complete, there was nothing after the inference of the trained model.

The tutorial suggest using a Tensorflow 2.6 jupyternote book. This doesn't work together with the lecture content, as it requires tf.keras.experimental.preprocessing.HashedCrossing which is not included in tf2.6. After upgrading to 2.11 this issue was fixed.
