The steps mentioned in the lab do not allow the correct execution of the lab. Then I suggest that the correct and complete instructions are given or that the user is made aware that there is a part that he must develop himself. Specifically, my problem was in the execution of the Job, following the steps as is, I got the following error: "Startup of the worker pool in zone us-central1-b failed to bring up any of the desired 1 workers. Please refer to https://cloud.google.com/dataflow/docs/guides/common-errors#worker-pool-failure for help troubleshooting. ZONE_RESOURCE_POOL_EXHAUSTED: Instance 'currentconditions-student-06060904-h4tc-harness-2hx8' creation failed: The zone 'projects/qwiklabs-gcp-04-654ab991cf1b/zones/us-central1-b' does not have enough resources available to fulfill the request. Try a different zone, or try again later.". I fixed it by adding "----workerZone=<lab-zone>" in run_oncloud.sh, however it's a problem that for someone just starting out with GCP might not be as intuitive to fix.
