Apigee is not under the "Tools" in the left menu, instead it is in the "Integrated Services" . I had to investigate myself to open the project in the old Apigee editor which took time to resolve.

Unfortunately there was a disconnection of the virtual machine hosting the backend with retail-backend.yaml from that the lab instance was not found anymore
