Followed every step as closely as possible. Things went as expected until the end. The API debug session test kept failing with a 404. Started over and tried it again. Still got 404's when attempting to test the URL via the Debug pane in a debug session and with curl in cloud shell (as tutorial directed). None of the monitoring tools showed any requests or errors whatsoever, which was disconcerting, as I've been doing network coding for a couple of decades, and I'm not used to being stumped by a tutorial. In the end, I'm left with a mystery (why didn't it work?) that I now worry I'll have to confront in production someday.

The debug part of the lab didn't work! Someone should be verifying this stuff still work from time to time.

Unfortunately, my eval instance wouldn't connect to the load balancer and I wasn't able to do a debug trace of the api.
