This time the lab environment was too flaky. I must have restarted the lab to get it working. Even after restart I still encountered errors and couldn't experience the lab as it was intended. Each time the Cloud Build failed after "gcloud app deploy" was executed. On multiple retries the Cloud Build always failed with timeout on steps like: "Running setup.py bdist_wheel for grpcio-tools: started" or "Running setup.py bdist_wheel for grpcio: started" See logs for project "qwiklabs-gcp-04-b06adea8dda5", user: "netstudent-04-67a9f860a2f5@qwiklabs.net"

error, they are going to fix it. ERROR: google-cloud-pubsub 1.4.3 has requirement google-api-core[grpc]<1.17.0,>=1.14.0, but you'll have google-api-core 1.17.0 which is incompatible.

the step to deploy the app repeatedly failed. cause of failure was timeout after 10 minutes. It eventually got far enough that the progress checks would pass and the app engine instances appeared, but the link to the app engine instances was a 404

Consider adding to `preparing` script this: `gcloud config set app/cloud_build_timeout 1000` because Python containers builds really long and exceeds GCP default time limit (10m) to build.
