App Dev - Deploying the Application into App Engine Flexible Environment: Python Reviews

"gcloud config set app/cloud_build_timeout 1080" wasn't enough. I had to up it to 2400 to get the second deployment to work. (gcloud.preview.app.deploy) Error Response: [4] DEADLINE_EXCEEDED

Most of the time of the lab was waiting for some deployment which was terribly slow, and it fails on timeout. Only after increasing the timeout I managed to deploy the updated version of the application. I cannot see any reason to have lab like this one, which in my opinion was a great waste of time.

The build and deploy was a pain due to the length, and failed at least one time (15/20min wait)

The commands timed out both times. Increased timeout from 1080 to 3000. AppEngine sucks. Took forever to deploy.
