The first App Engine wouldn't run (HTTP 502 error). The second instance ran.

most of the lab was just waiting for things to provision, and the actual bits that were interactive were very brief. after the deployment, it took a while for the site to start but the instructions didn't say this, so it looked like something was wrong, which was confusing. my second deployment failed, not sure why as i'd made all the changes as per instructions. worked when i repeated it though.

worst lab ever. generic, besides you can't finalise the last task for some reasons despite the fact you did everything right and checked everything manually many times. disgrace...

It wold have been good if the stackdriver portion was part of the main lab rather than bonus round
