there are improvements that are needed in the instructions. Cloud spanner is not enabled in the instance. the projects are not loaded in the editor manually, i need to load them. The modules required are not pinned.

Overall great lab, but Spanner part needs update as the UI has changed.

I had issues with the last step: Return to the Cloud Platform Console and click Navigation menu > Spanner. This was quiet difficult to find. I guess the console UI changed since the course was last updated? In fact, I had a similar problem with the previous labs too, but it was way easier to find the necessary function in the console with Ctrl+F.
