Was there any user testing done? Because this was an experience equivalent to sandpaper to your face... Like any good student I did as asked and happily started to add code, even though I had no clue where to begin. Then at some point I did not really know what to do, so I wanted to peak what I should do. Turned out that all instructions following where ordered by subject, which would be logical IF the student was alerted and instructed before starting doing the work independently. And if that wasn't enough, turned out that there were some specifics that were completely left out of the in-code comments, thus having me go back through fixing code that I should not have to fix... Thanks for this lab that left me so distracted by how it discourages doing labs on your own, that I barely learned what actually mattered; How to implement and use the pubsub, languageapi and spanner libraries in Python effectively. Now I will probably have to do this over to really grasp it all...
