Initially, I overlooked the step to make sure that the version for the auth and analytics libraries must be the same version. Any reason why you did not want to specify both libraries in the copy-and-paste section?

Please update the screenshots. For example the side menu in the screenshot doesn't match with the names of the current version of Firebase.
