Lab did not work at all. When hitting the log in button in the example app, absolutely nothing happened (after adding the script blocks, as instructed).

Unfortunately the demo - login and register with generated firebase script doesn't work at all on Mozilla Firefox. It work's on Google Chrome, but the project should be cross platform.
