the openjdk-8 is not part of apt distribution anymore. I had to install openjdk-11 after finding it in apt cache

POM file is broken, it has some extra '<' brackets. OpenJDK-8 seems to be deprecated as the installation error says, had to install OpenJDK-11 instead. Even though I'm not Java expert, luckily I have enough understanding to deal with it on my own, otherwise the lab is not possible to accomplish.

Had some trouble because openjdk 8 isn't available to install anymore. I found a work around on my own which was to install openjdk11 and upgrade the version of java and spring boot in the pom.xml to 11 and 2.2.6 respectively. I was told this is a known issue by chat, but they didn't have a work around for me.

some issue on your side java not installing and men spring:boot not running and I can't complete my lab because of this. Very disappointed. I have wasted time by doing this twice. I should be awarded full points instead of 10/15

Lab is not working. There is no java version 8 available.
