The lab keeps glitching out. And it won't let me complete because its running jre instead of jdk. Im going to try again tommorow and see if anything changes. But this was a very stressful experience. The labs are usually fun. Ill just assume its just an error with the system tonight.

Just installing maven didn't set up the Java build env properly. I had to manually install the correct version of openjdk with sudo apt-get install openjdk-11-jdk
