Remember to add the command sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jdk otherwise nothing will work during the mvn clean install, ditto during the mvn spring-boot: run. And mvn exec: java @ list-gce doesn't work either

There were no JDK on VM.

No JDK instaleld need extra command: "sudo apt install default-jdk -y"

JAVA_HOME was not set in the VM, the java version was wrong too (8 instead of 11) and even with the correct version the application didn't start properly
